About the role#
As a Product Management Intern on the Platform Security team, you will help bring new security capabilities to our platform. You will work with product, design, and development teams to make complex security features easier to use. This role involves translating technical concepts into clear documentation and enablement materials. You will also gather feedback from customers and internal teams to help inform future product decisions.
What you'll do#
- Contribute to platform security initiatives and support the development of new product capabilities.
- Serve as the voice of the user in discussions with design and development teams.
- Help maintain and prioritize the product backlog using a data-driven approach.
- Write user stories and support product discovery and requirements definition.
- Gather and synthesize feedback from customers and stakeholders to guide product improvements.
- Translate technical concepts into clear developer documentation and product updates.
- Coordinate internal and external communications for product launches.
- Track product adoption signals to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Build practical experience in product discovery, prioritization, and enterprise security.
What you'll need#
- Interest in product management, technology, enterprise software, and cybersecurity.
- Experience or exposure to writing user stories, conducting user research, or breaking down technical features through coursework, projects, or previous internships.
- Ability to analyze data and translate insights into clear, actionable recommendations.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving, organization, and time management skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues across different teams and time zones.
- Curiosity and a willingness to learn, ask questions, and take ownership of your work.
Location & details#
- Term: Winter 2027 (January 2027 to April 2027).
- Modality: Remote.
- Commitment: Full-time (37.5 to 40 hours weekly).
- Compensation: CAD 28.20 to 32.30 per hour.
