About the role#
As a Software Developer Intern, you will join one of our development teams to build enterprise-scale cloud software. You will work alongside Software Developers, Test Engineers, Product Managers, and UX Designers to gain experience across the full software development lifecycle. Depending on your team, you may contribute to frontend or backend development, APIs, test automation, cloud platforms, or AI-enabled solutions. You will receive mentorship while learning to solve real product and customer problems in a collaborative, agile environment.
What you'll do#
- Design, develop, test, and maintain software features and solutions.
- Write clean, readable, and well-tested code.
- Work cross-functionally with team members to deliver high-quality product experiences.
- Contribute to new product capabilities and maintain existing functionality.
- Participate in design, implementation, code reviews, and troubleshooting.
- Investigate software defects and contribute to root-cause analysis.
- Develop and maintain automated tests, including unit and integration tests.
- Work with technologies like APIs, databases, cloud services, and web applications.
- Participate in technical and architectural discussions to understand engineering tradeoffs.
- Contribute to code quality, engineering practices, and process improvements.
- Help ensure software is reliably built and delivered through modern pipelines.
- Explore emerging technologies to improve engineering productivity.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree or diploma program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Programming experience from coursework, personal projects, internships, or open-source contributions.
- Familiarity with one or more languages such as C#, Java, Python, C++, or JavaScript/TypeScript.
- A solid understanding of programming fundamentals, object-oriented programming, data structures, algorithms, and problem-solving.
- A basic understanding of relational databases and SQL.
- Familiarity with software development basics like debugging, testing, and version control.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within an agile team.
- Excellent communication skills and a strong sense of ownership.

- Term: Winter 2027 (January 2027 to August 2027).
- Location: Remote (Canada).
- Status: Full-time (37.5 to 40 hours per week).
- Paid internship.
