About the role#
As a Fullstack Developer Intern, you will work with experienced developers and product team members to contribute to the AlayaCare Cloud platform. You will work on real product features while learning modern development practices and tools. Mentors will support your technical and professional growth throughout the term.
What you'll do#
- Design, code, test, and debug software features.
- Use GenAI tools to help plan, generate, and test features.
- Pair-program with senior developers and participate in code reviews.
- Write and maintain automated tests.
- Investigate, reproduce, and resolve bugs under supervision.
- Participate in team rituals like standups, demos, and retrospectives.
- Apply modern development practices including directing AI Agents, CI/CD, containerization, and monitoring.
What you'll need#
- Familiarity with at least one programming language such as Python, TypeScript, or JavaScript.
- Motivation to learn development tools and workflows like Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Docker.
- Curiosity about technology trends, performance, and software development practices.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical teammates.
- Interest in developing as a full stack developer by working on both front-end and back-end code.
- Bilingualism in French and English is an asset.
- Current enrollment in a Computer Science or Computer Engineering program.
