About the role#
As an Electronics Engineering Intern at Danfoss Turbocor, you will work on embedded control systems for compressor technologies. You will gain hands-on experience in power electronics, circuit design, and product development while working alongside engineers in Tallahassee. This role involves applying your academic background to real engineering challenges.
What you'll do#
- Support the design, testing, and validation of power electronics and embedded control systems.
- Perform laboratory work using oscilloscopes, multimeters, and other test equipment to measure system performance.
- Build and modify electronics hardware by soldering components and assembling cables.
- Conduct circuit simulations and technical analyses to evaluate design performance.
- Document results and prepare technical reports for cross-functional teams.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Foundational knowledge of electronic components and circuits.
- Understanding of circuit design and PCB layout.
- Understanding of analog-to-digital and digital-to-analog conversion.
- Understanding of control systems and digital signal processing.
