About the role#
This is a full-time, 11-week summer internship based at the Daikin Texas Technology Park in Waller, Texas. You will work on-site with a direct team on an individual project while collaborating with other interns on a group assignment. The program includes opportunities for networking across functions, team building, and professional development.
What you'll do#
- Quantify and improve current manufacturing processes.
- Review engineering changes for HVAC product designs.
- Develop and manage project schedules for product launches and design modifications.
- Solve product-related issues using root cause analysis techniques.
- Participate in cross-functional teams to launch products and support improvements.
- Process bills of materials, drawings, and engineering change requests.
- Assist production teams during pilot runs and issue resolution.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an Industrial Engineering or Mechanical Engineering program.
- Expected graduation date between December 2027 and May 2029.
- You must be at least 18 years of age.
- You must not require employer-sponsored work authorization now or in the future.
