About the role#
As a Quality Engineering Intern, you will support the quality standards for products manufactured at the Daikin Texas Technology Park. You will work with procurement, engineering, and reliability teams to ensure consistent product quality and process adherence. This is a full-time, on-site summer internship program.
What you'll do#
- Oversee quality activities for manufactured products, procured goods, and third-party accessories.
- Analyze engineering specifications and manufacturing processes for new product introductions.
- Develop test plans and design quality testing equipment.
- Lead multidisciplinary teams to identify root causes and implement corrective and preventive actions for quality issues.
- Create and manage Development Quality Improvement and Warranty Monitoring reports.
- Coordinate with departments like Design, Procurement, and Supplier Quality to verify and validate product changes.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Mechanical, Industrial, or Electrical Engineering degree program.
- Graduation date between December 2026 and May 2028.
- Minimum age of 18.
- Ability to work in the United States without employer sponsorship now or in the future.
