About the role#
As a Graduate Pharmacy Intern, you will transition from didactic learning to real-world pharmacy practice. You will work under the direction of a preceptor and District Leader to complete a training roadmap within 120 days of graduation. This role focuses on deepening your understanding of patient safety, quality assurance, and pharmacy operations in preparation for a Pharmacist position.
What you'll do#
- Apply pharmacy practice and didactic knowledge to real-world clinical scenarios.
- Follow pharmacy workflow procedures at all workstations, including production, pick-up, drive-thru, and drop-off.
- Offer to counsel patients and field medical questions under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
- Complete inventory activities such as cycle counts, returns-to-stocks, and waiting bin inventories.
- Complete training and licensure requirements to obtain Technician Immunizer status.
- Assist with telephonic prescriptions and communicate with prescribers to clarify medication orders.
What you'll need#
- PharmD graduate of a U.S. accredited program.
- Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern or technician licensure.
- Ability to obtain required pharmacist licensure within 120 days of graduation.
- Ability to remain mobile and stand for extended periods.
- Capability to lift up to 20 lbs occasionally.

- Location: Victoria, Texas.
- This is an on-site, part-time position.
- The role operates on a rolling term basis.
