About the role#
This position is for a Pharmacy Intern who has recently graduated from a PharmD program. You will apply your academic training to real-world pharmacy operations while preparing for a full Pharmacist role. The program includes a comprehensive training roadmap that must be completed within 120 days of graduation.
What you'll do#
- Follow pharmacy workflow procedures to ensure safe and accurate prescription fulfillment.
- Offer to counsel patients and field medical questions under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
- Deliver patient health care services including immunizations and point-of-care testing where permitted.
- Complete basic inventory tasks such as cycle counts and returns-to-stocks.
- Assist the pharmacy team in maintaining operational standards and patient safety.
What you'll need#
- PharmD degree from a U.S. accredited program.
- Ability to obtain pharmacist licensure within 120 days of graduation.
- Valid intern or technician licensure, or be in the process of obtaining it.
- Ability to work on-site, including nights and weekends as required.
