About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern, you will apply your didactic learning from pharmacy school into real-world practice. You will work under the direction of a preceptor to gain hands-on experience in pharmacy operations. This role focuses on developing your skills in preparation for a future Pharmacist position while supporting our pharmacy teams in delivering quality care.
What you'll do#
- Follow pharmacy workflow procedures at all workstations, including production, pick-up, drive-thru, and drop-off, to ensure safe and accurate prescription fulfillment.
- Offer to counsel patients and field medical questions under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
- Take telephonic prescriptions from prescribers and clarify medication orders or facilitate changes where state regulations allow.
- Complete basic inventory activities, such as cycle counts and returns-to-stocks, as directed by pharmacy leadership.
- Contribute to a safe and inclusive team environment while maintaining compliance with all federal, state, and local laws.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment or acceptance into an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
- Possession of, or active progress toward obtaining, a valid intern or technician license.
- Ability to complete all required training programs within the designated timeframe.
- Availability for regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.

- Compensation: $20.00 - $23.75 per hour.
