About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern, you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to support the pharmacy team. This role focuses on maintaining a safe work environment and helping patients manage their health through various care programs. You will contribute to the pharmacy team by modeling professional care and supporting daily operations.
What you'll do#
- Support the pharmacy team under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
- Manage patient care programs to help customers stay healthy.
- Display empathy and compassion for patients, caregivers, and colleagues.
- Promote a team culture centered on caring and enthusiasm.
- Assist in maintaining a safe environment within the retail pharmacy.
- Complete all required training and obtain necessary licensure within state guidelines.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
- Valid intern or technician licensure, or be in the process of obtaining it.
- Between 0 and 3 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Availability to work a schedule that includes nights and weekends.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 20 pounds, reaching, and remaining upright for extended periods.
