About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern, you will apply your classroom learning to real-world practice. You will work under the direction of a preceptor to complete a training roadmap, gaining an overview of pharmacy operations while preparing for a future Pharmacist role. This is a part-time, paid position with a rolling term.
What you'll do#
- Assist the pharmacy team to ensure operations run smoothly and prescriptions are filled accurately.
- Complete a comprehensive training roadmap focusing on Key Learning Experiences.
- Follow all company Standard Operating Procedures at every workstation.
- Contribute to positive patient experiences by showing empathy and genuine care.
- Support immunizations by completing additional licensure and training requirements.
What you'll need#
- Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
- Must possess or be in the process of obtaining valid intern or technician licensure.
- Ability to concentrate on a task over a period of time.
- Ability to use math to solve problems, such as calculating medication dosages.
- A friendly approach and a willingness to help others.
