About the role#
Baptist Health offers a 4-month full-time paid internship for those training to become a certified CT Technologist. You will work on-site at the Baptist Medical Center Downtown in Jacksonville. This program prepares you for future full-time, part-time, or PRN roles within the health system.
What you'll do#
- Gain hands-on experience in CT imaging while working under the direct supervision of registered technologists.
- Assist with patient screenings and transport patients as needed.
- Manage medical records.
- Perform diagnostic CT exams as your training progresses.
- Complete the clinical procedures necessary for the ARRT CT registry.
What you'll need#
- Graduation from an approved School of Radiology.
- Current BLS certification.
- CRT licensure.
- Ability to meet ARRT ethics and education standards.
- A commitment to sit for the ARRT CT exam once the program concludes.
