About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern, you will apply your classroom learning to real-world practice. You will work under the direction of a preceptor to complete a training roadmap that covers pharmacy operations. This role prepares you for future responsibilities as a Pharmacist by providing hands-on experience in a retail setting.
What you'll do#
- Assist the pharmacy team to ensure operations run smoothly.
- Help fill prescriptions promptly, safely, and accurately.
- Follow pharmacy workflow procedures for prescription fulfillment, including production, pick-up, drive-thru, and drop-off.
- Provide patient health care services such as immunizations where allowed by law.
- Educate patients about the importance of vaccines.
- Maintain pharmacy standards and support a safe, inclusive team culture.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
- Valid intern or technician licensure, or be in the process of obtaining one.
- Ability to maintain regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
- Ability to complete all required training within the designated timeframe.
- Capacity to concentrate on tasks over extended periods.

- Compensation: $20.00 - $23.75 per hour.
