About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern, you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to provide care to our patients. You will contribute to a safe and effective retail pharmacy environment while gaining professional experience. This is a part-time position with a pay range of $20.00 to $23.75 per hour.
What you'll do#
- Ensure patient safety and follow regulatory requirements.
- Manage pharmacy workflow and inventory.
- Deliver care through patient programs and services.
- Provide patient immunizations once state regulations are met.
- Support a team culture that values empathy, compassion, and collaboration.
- Communicate effectively with patients, caregivers, and colleagues.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
- Valid intern or technician licensure, or be in the process of obtaining it.
- 0-3 years of relevant work experience.
- Ability to maintain regular attendance, including nights and weekends.
- Physical ability to remain upright for extended periods, lift up to 20 lbs, and perform tasks requiring finger dexterity and precision control.
- Close visual acuity for tasks like reading and visual inspection.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Immunization eligibility and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite are preferred.
