About the role#
As a pharmacy intern, you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to support the daily operations of our retail pharmacy. You will assist in delivering patient care, maintaining a safe work environment, and managing pharmacy workflows. This is a part-time position with rolling start dates.
What you'll do#
- Deliver care to patients and manage patient care programs.
- Lead with empathy and compassion when interacting with patients, caregivers, and team members.
- Facilitate a team culture focused on energy, enthusiasm, and pride.
- Provide patient immunizations once you meet state regulations.
- Support inventory management, regulatory compliance, and quality assurance tasks.
What you'll need#
- Active enrollment in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
- Valid intern or technician licensure, or be in the process of obtaining it.
- 0-3 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work nights and weekends with regular, predictable attendance.
- Physical ability to remain upright for extended periods, lift, scan, and bag items.
- Visual acuity for transcribing information and viewing computer terminals.
- Completion of all required training within state guidelines.
