About the role#
As a pharmacy intern, you work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to support our retail pharmacy operations. You will play a key role in delivering patient care, modeling our values, and ensuring a safe, effective work environment. This is a part-time position focused on professional development and gaining hands-on experience in a clinical setting.
What you'll do#
- Support pharmacy professional practice and maintain regulatory compliance.
- Manage pharmacy workflow, inventory, and quality assurance tasks.
- Deliver authentic care to patients and customers while demonstrating empathy.
- Adopt and manage patient care programs to improve health outcomes.
- Facilitate a team culture characterized by energy, enthusiasm, and pride.
- Provide patient immunizations once you meet state regulations.
- Collaborate with the pharmacy team to reach goals and support our purpose.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
- Valid intern or technician licensure, or be in the process of obtaining one.
- 0-3 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
- Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 20 lbs, and reach or stoop as needed.
- Fine motor skills for precision tasks and computer work.
- Completion of all required training within state guidelines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and immunization eligibility are preferred.

- Location: Fairmont, West Virginia.
- Type: Part-time, on-site role.
- Compensation: $20.00 - $23.75 per hour.
