About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern, you work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to support our retail pharmacy operations. You will help ensure a safe environment while providing care to patients. This role involves managing patient care programs and working as a key member of the pharmacy team.
What you'll do#
- Deliver care to patients and model company values.
- Maintain a safe and effective pharmacy work environment.
- Manage patient care programs to help customers stay healthy.
- Lead with empathy and compassion for patients, caregivers, and colleagues.
- Collaborate with the team to deliver better outcomes.
- Provide patient immunizations once state regulations are met.
- Align team members around our purpose and facilitate a positive, energetic culture.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
- Valid intern or technician licensure, or be in the process of obtaining it.
- 0-3 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to complete all required training within state guidelines.
- Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
- Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 20 lbs, reach overhead, and use finger dexterity for typing and handling items.
- Visual acuity for tasks like reading and transcribing.
- Immunization eligibility.
