About the role#
This is a 10-week full-time Actuarial Corporate Internship. You will work with a team to support business leaders through analytical projects and financial accountability. The program provides hands-on experience in risk management, pricing, and healthcare trend analysis. Interns have the opportunity to apply for future full-time roles at the end of the program.
What you'll do#
- Work on financial planning, forecasting, and reserving.
- Monitor and forecast medical cost trends.
- Support regulatory filings and new product development.
- Participate in projects that contribute to business success.
- Engage in community service activities and professional development workshops.
- Interact with senior leaders and attend networking events.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a Bachelor’s degree with an anticipated graduation date between September 2027 and August 2030.
- A major, minor, or concentration in a relevant field such as Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Economics, Data Science, Statistics, Business Administration, Finance, Civil Engineering, or Operations Management.
- A clear interest in pursuing an Actuarial career.
- Willingness to relocate if necessary.
- Please note that work visa sponsorship is not available for this role, including CPT, OPT, and F-1 Visa programs.
Location & details#
- Location: Hartford, Connecticut.
- Term: Summer 2027 (May 26 to August 6).
- Work Modality: Hybrid, with 3 days per week in the office.
- Compensation: $26.50 per hour for 40 hours per week.
- Intern housing is provided.
