About the role#
This internship focuses on identifying emerging talent through research across social media, digital streaming platforms, and specialized A&R tools. You will support the A&R team by gathering data, tracking artist leads, and assisting with administrative tasks to support the signing and development process.
What you'll do#
- Conduct extensive research on artists and songs to identify potential opportunities.
- Gather YouTube data and generate analytics on prospective signees.
- Assist in tracking artist leads throughout the sales funnel, from initial identification to signing.
- Support projects aimed at building and maintaining relationships with the creative community, including artists, producers, songwriters, and managers.
- Help the A&R team organize and collect song files and links for recent signings.
What you'll need#
- Must be based in Los Angeles.
- Passion for music, culture, and content discovery.
- Strong interest in pursuing a career in the music or entertainment industry.
- Deep familiarity with internet culture and social media platforms, including YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to stay organized and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Media Studies, or Psychology.
Location & details#
- Location: Los Angeles, California.
- Modality: Hybrid (must be able to work in the office 2-3 times per week).
- Schedule: 10–20 hours per week, with flexibility for school commitments.
- Duration: 3–4 months.
- This is a paid position.
