About the role#
This internship focuses on identifying emerging talent through research across social media, digital service providers, and specialized A&R tools. You will support the team in navigating the sales funnel and maintaining connections within the creative community.
What you'll do#
- Provide the A&R team with research on artists and songs.
- Gather YouTube data and create analytics reports on potential signees.
- Assist in tracking artist leads from initial identification through the signing process.
- Support projects aimed at building and maintaining relationships with artists, songwriters, producers, and managers.
- Help the A&R team organize song files and links for recent signings.
- Handle day-to-day administrative tasks as needed.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment or background in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Media Studies, or Psychology.
- Passion for music, culture, and content discovery.
- Strong familiarity with internet culture and social media platforms like YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok.
- Motivation to pursue a career in the music and entertainment industry.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to stay organized and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
Location & details#
- Location: Los Angeles, California.
- Modality: Hybrid (must be able to attend the office 2-3 times per week).
- Schedule: 10-20 hours per week, with flexibility to accommodate school commitments.
- Duration: 3-4 months.
- Compensation: This is a paid internship.
- Residency: Must be based in Los Angeles.
