About the role#
Create Music Group is looking for a Copyright Specialist Intern to support our Digital Rights team. You will work alongside department leads to manage digital rights operations, including resolving copyright conflicts and strikes. This is a part-time, paid internship designed for students seeking academic credit.
What you'll do#
- Resolve ownership conflicts and held revenue issues within YouTube.
- Address channel strikes on client channels to protect our network.
- Assert ownership and resolve conflicts using the TikTok Media Match platform.
- Communicate with peers and support the broader digital rights team.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as an undergraduate or graduate student, with the ability to receive academic credit.
- Familiarity with YouTube content formats.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail when managing multiple projects.
- An interest in music industry trends and new genres.
- Eligibility to work in the United States.
Location & details#
- Location: Los Angeles, California.
- Modality: Hybrid, with 1-2 days per week in our office.
- Term: Summer or Fall 2026.
- Commitment: 10 to 23 hours per week for 3 to 4 months.
