About the role#
As an Infrastructure Operations Intern, you will join our team for the Summer 2027 term. You will work on real projects, receive guidance from a program mentor, and gain exposure to senior leadership. This full-time position is based in Atlanta and operates on a hybrid schedule.
What you'll do#
- Create written documentation for new processes, technical designs, and implementations.
- Contribute ideas to help our technology organization meet business needs.
- Assist with the compilation and analysis of data for presentations to upper management.
- Help build out new Linux and Windows servers in both on-premise and cloud environments.
- Support the discovery and implementation of new cloud tools and operations concepts.
- Perform introductory-level administration tasks for Linux, Windows, and databases including Oracle and SQL.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor's degree program for Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or a related field.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage changing priorities.
- Familiarity with Linux or Windows operating systems and Azure or AWS cloud concepts.
- Basic knowledge of desktop PC systems and mobile devices.
- Preferred experience includes working with VMWare, Microsoft 365, New Relic, Ansible, YAML, JSON, or XML, as well as concepts like Agile, ITSM, and DevOps.
