About the role#
Cox Enterprises is seeking an Enterprise Architect Intern for the Summer 2027 term. Based in Atlanta, this full-time, paid internship offers hands-on experience within our IBT Technology Architecture team. You will work on projects involving cloud computing, DevOps, generative AI, machine learning, and platform engineering while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate on solutions architecture tasks and help create architecture documents and Visio diagrams.
- Research technology trends in cloud computing, DevOps, generative AI, and machine learning, then summarize findings in PowerPoint presentations.
- Participate in technology-driven meetings to learn about the project delivery lifecycle.
- Support the maintenance of the enterprise architecture data repository.
- Contribute to DevOps environments, including continuous integration and deployment.
- Assist in building integration platforms and engaging in analytics projects.
- Offer ideas to improve technology organization processes.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Basic computer skills and a foundational understanding of Microsoft Office 365.
- Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor.
- Ability to work independently and solve problems analytically.
- An innovative mindset and the ability to adapt to shifting priorities.
