About the role#
We are looking for a Corporate Social Responsibility Intern to join our team for the Summer 2027 term. You will support our ongoing efforts to engage employees in volunteer work, measure our social and environmental impact, and build campaigns focused on environmental education. This is a full-time, paid internship based in Atlanta.
What you'll do#
- Develop creative campaigns to engage employees in environmental stewardship and education.
- Maintain our database of volunteer activities.
- Serve as a liaison between the company and our community partners.
- Attend and participate in community service activities.
- Conduct research regarding environmental stewardship and social impact.
- Support the broader Corporate Social Responsibility team as needed.
What you'll need#
- You are currently a college student pursuing a BA or BS degree in Environmental Policy, Public Relations, Corporate Communications, or a related field.
- You have a strong interest in corporate social responsibility, ESG goals, and initiatives like Cox Conserves and our Focus 34 by 34 goal.
- You are comfortable using Asana and Excel.
- You have good oral and written communication skills.
- You are an enthusiastic, collaborative, and detail-oriented team player.
- You have a genuine passion for environmental protection and community engagement.
- You are comfortable working outdoors and performing physical tasks, such as planting trees or removing trash.
- You must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship.
