About the role#
As a Civil Engineering Intern on our Electric Vehicle Infrastructure team, you will work with experienced engineers to support projects across commercial, retail, and fleet markets. You will gain hands-on experience by assisting with site development and learning how civil engineering supports electric vehicle infrastructure from concept through construction.
What you'll do#
- Assist with site development and civil design for EV charging infrastructure projects.
- Support grading, drainage, utility, and stormwater design efforts.
- Participate in site layout, permitting, and utility coordination activities.
- Conduct site visits and field observations to understand existing site conditions.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including civil, electrical, architectural, and structural engineers.
- Assist with preparing construction documents and engineering deliverables.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled as a junior pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Interest in land development or electric vehicle infrastructure projects.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
- Eagerness to learn in a multidisciplinary engineering environment.
