About the role#
As an Electrical Engineering Intern, you will work alongside experienced engineers and project teams to support electrical design work. This is a full-time, paid, 11-week summer program where you will gain hands-on experience with industry-standard software such as Revit, AutoCAD, and Bluebeam Revu.
What you'll do#
- Assist with power distribution and lighting design.
- Support electrical load calculations and panel schedules.
- Participate in BIM coordination and multidisciplinary meetings.
- Attend site visits to observe construction progress.
- Review drawings and construction documentation.
- Learn about low-voltage systems, lighting controls, and energy-efficient design.
- Support project teams throughout various phases of design and construction.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a junior pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Interest in building systems and electrical infrastructure.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively and work as a collaborative team player.
- Eagerness to learn in a multidisciplinary AEC environment.

- Locations: Somerville, New Jersey or Bentonville, Arkansas.
