About the role#
As an Electrical Engineering Intern in our Washington, DC studio, you will join our integrated design team. You will contribute to the design of electrical systems for buildings of various sizes and types. This is a paid, full-time position for Summer 2027.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with a licensed engineer to design electrical systems for new construction and building renovations.
- Attend design team meetings to observe how a multi-disciplinary team coordinates their work.
- Assist with the design and development of construction documents, primarily using Revit.
- Visit an active construction site to see projects in progress.
What you'll need#
- Completion of at least one year at an ABET-accredited Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering program.
- Experience or interest in BIM workflows, such as Autodesk Revit MEP.
- An interest in architectural building design.
- Preference for candidates who have passed the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

- Location: Washington, District of Columbia.
- Modality: On-site and hybrid. The firm follows a four-day in-office model with flexibility on Fridays.
- Term: Summer 2027.
