About the role#
As a Structural Engineering Intern, you will join our integrated design team to help create structural systems for new construction and building renovation projects. You will work alongside licensed engineers and professionals from various disciplines, including architecture and interiors. This role provides hands-on experience with the design process, from early concepts to construction administration.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with a licensed engineer on structural system designs.
- Attend design team meetings to observe how multi-disciplinary teams coordinate their work.
- Assist with the design and development of construction documents, primarily using Revit.
- Coordinate structural design requirements with architecture and other project disciplines.
- Visit an active construction site.
What you'll need#
- Completion of at least one year at an ABET-accredited program in Structural, Civil, or Architectural Engineering.
- Experience or interest in BIM workflows, such as Autodesk Revit.
- Interest in architectural building design.
- Preference for candidates who have passed the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam.
- Preference for students currently in their third year of an accredited engineering program.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

- Term: Summer 2027 (May 18 through August 6).
- Work Modality: On-site and hybrid.
- Status: Full-time, paid internship.
