About the role#
As an Electrical Engineering Intern in our Omaha studio, you will join our integrated design team. You will contribute to the design of electrical systems for buildings of various types and sizes. This is a paid, full-time position as part of our Emerging Professional Experience program. You will work alongside professionals across architecture, engineering, and interiors to gain experience with the design process from early concepts through construction administration.
What you'll do#
- Work with a licensed engineer to design electrical systems for new construction and renovation projects.
- Attend design team meetings and observe coordination across multi-disciplinary teams.
- Assist with the design and development of construction documents using Revit.
- Visit an active construction site.
What you'll need#
- Completion of at least one year at an ABET-accredited Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering program.
- Experience or interest in BIM workflows, such as Autodesk Revit MEP.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
- Passing the Fundamentals of Engineering exam is preferred.
- Interest in architectural building design is preferred.

- Location: Omaha, Nebraska.
- Term: Summer 2027 (May 18 through August 6).
- Modality: This is an on-site and hybrid position. We follow a four-day in-office work model with flexibility to work remotely on Fridays.
