About the role#
As a Mechanical Engineering Intern, you will join our integrated design team in Cleveland. You will work on mechanical systems for new construction and building renovation projects. This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027. You will gain hands-on experience by working alongside licensed engineers and other design professionals through the entire project lifecycle.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with a licensed engineer on mechanical system designs.
- Assist in the development of construction documents using Revit.
- Attend design team meetings to observe how multi-disciplinary teams coordinate.
- Develop HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection designs from concept to completion.
- Visit an active construction site.
What you'll need#
- Completion of at least one year in an ABET-accredited Mechanical or Architectural Engineering program.
- Experience or interest in BIM workflows, specifically Autodesk Revit MEP.
- Interest in architectural building design.
- Preference is given to third-year students and those who have passed the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
