About the role#
Conagra Brands is hiring a Manufacturing Co-Op for our Waterloo, Iowa facility. This is a year-round, paid internship that offers a path to a full-time career upon successful completion. You will report to a Line Leader and work on-site. We will adjust your work schedule to accommodate your school commitments.
What you'll do#
As an Operator Intern, you will participate in the food manufacturing process. Your daily tasks include:
- Obtaining supplies needed for product manufacturing.
- Preparing and staging materials for upcoming product runs.
- Clearing jams from packaging equipment.
- Performing machine start-up and shut-down procedures.
- Cleaning, inspecting, and lubricating production equipment.
- Hand-stacking cases.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a 2 or 4 year Industrial or Engineering Technology program.
- Ability to perform machine start-up and shut-down procedures.
- Ability to clear jams from packaging equipment.
- Ability to clean, inspect, and lubricate production equipment.
- Ability to perform hand-stacking of cases.

- Location: Waterloo, Iowa.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Compensation: $19.00 per hour.
- Schedule: 3:00 PM to 9:30 PM.
