About the role#
Columbia College is hiring a Student Assistant for its location at NAS Whidbey Island. This part-time, paid position is for students eligible for the Work-Study program. The role involves general office support and administrative tasks to assist the department.
What you'll do#
- Greet students and visitors.
- Collect paperwork and ensure documentation is complete.
- Assist with filing, scanning, and organizing documents.
- Create informational packets for students.
- Help with special projects as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Must be Work Study eligible and have completed the FAFSA.
- Enrolled and attending at least half-time during regular semester sessions.
- Ability to maintain confidential information.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products and general database systems.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Must not be on financial aid or academic suspension.
