About the role#
The Research Student I position offers a structured learning experience within a laboratory or clinical research setting at the Cleveland Clinic Main Campus. You will work closely with research personnel to explore career paths in biomedical and clinical research.
What you'll do#
- Conduct research in laboratories or clinical settings under direct supervision.
- Perform data collection and analysis tasks.
- Gain hands-on experience with laboratory techniques and related research skills.
- Complete other duties as assigned.
What you'll need#
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Current enrollment or acceptance as an undergraduate student at an accredited college or university. This role is not for students who have already completed an undergraduate degree.
- Critical thinking skills and the ability to exercise decisive judgment.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and manage tasks in a stressful environment.
- Previous research laboratory experience is often preferred.
- Ability to lift and transport equipment or specimens weighing up to 20 pounds.
- Capability to perform work in a stationary position for extended periods and manual dexterity to handle specimens.

- Location: Cleveland Clinic Main Campus, Cleveland, Ohio.
- Employment Type: Part-time.
- Schedule: Days, 8:30am to 4:30pm.
- Work Modality: On-site.
