What you'll do#
Interns support our clinical research studies and participant visits under supervision. You will work alongside investigators and clinical research coordinators to help with daily operations.
- Greet participants, manage rooming, and prepare for study visits.
- Assist with data collection and maintain research documentation.
- Organize study materials, supplies, and visit paperwork.
- Gain exposure to clinical procedures like vital signs, EKGs, phlebotomy, and specimen processing.
- Learn to implement research protocols and follow Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and standard operating procedures.
- Support laboratory workflows and specimen handling.
- Interact with participants to provide a patient-centered experience.
- Use clinical research systems and documentation platforms.
What you'll need#
- You are in the final stages of completing your degree program.
- You have a strong interest in learning about clinical research and exploring future career paths in the field.
- You are curious about how clinical trials contribute to new therapies.
- You must reside in or around one of our active markets.
Location & details#
- This is an on-site role. You must currently reside in or around Las Vegas, NV, Detroit, MI, Munster, IN, or Southern California.
- Internships are paid positions.
- We are willing to collaborate with your college or university to meet academic requirements, such as hours or learning objectives.
- The work environment requires standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods in a clinical facility. You may need to wear personal protective equipment and travel between sites as necessary.
