About the role#
Profound Research is building a talent community for students in the final stages of their degree programs. This is an expression of interest for future paid internship opportunities. We support clinical trials in areas including oncology, cardiology, neurology, dermatology, and vaccines.
What you'll do#
Interns work under supervision to support clinical research operations. You will interact with study participants and contribute to a patient-centered experience while working alongside investigators and research professionals. Responsibilities may include:
- Assisting with participant flow, including greeting, rooming, and visit preparation.
- Supporting data collection, study documentation, and the organization of materials.
- Gaining exposure to clinical procedures such as vital signs, EKGs, phlebotomy, and specimen processing.
- Learning to implement research protocols and navigating clinical research systems.
- Gaining familiarity with Good Clinical Practice (GCP), Good Documentation Practices, and regulatory requirements.
What you'll need#
- You are currently in the final stages of completing a degree program.
- You have an interest in building a career in healthcare, science, or research.
- You are eager to learn about clinical research and explore future opportunities.
- You currently reside in or around one of our specified market locations.

- Locations: Detroit, MI; Munster, IN; Las Vegas, NV; San Diego, CA area.
- Modality: Hybrid and remote options available.
- Commitment: Full-time.
