About the role#
The Kim Lab at Cleveland Clinic offers a structured learning experience for undergraduate students interested in biomedical and clinical research. You will work directly with research personnel to gain hands-on experience in a laboratory or clinical environment. This is a part-time, paid position.
What you'll do#
- Conduct research in laboratory or clinical settings under direct supervision.
- Perform data collection and analysis tasks.
- Learn laboratory techniques and other skills relevant to a career in research.
- Complete other duties as assigned.
What you'll need#
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Current enrollment as an undergraduate student at an accredited college or university. This role is not for students who have already completed their undergraduate degree.
- Critical thinking skills and the ability to make decisive judgments.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Capability to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action when needed.
- Previous research laboratory experience is preferred but not required.
- Ability to perform tasks in a stationary position, operate office equipment, and handle specimens with manual dexterity.
- Ability to lift and transport equipment or specimens weighing up to 20 pounds.

- Location: Cleveland Clinic Main Campus, Cleveland, Ohio.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Schedule: Days, 8:00am-5:00pm.
- Terms: Rolling basis.
