About the role#
As an S&M / Ops Support Intern, you will join the Help Desk Team to provide first tier IT support for our employees. You will diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, manage tickets, and escalate incidents when necessary. This role involves both digital support and physical setup tasks to keep our office operations running smoothly.
What you'll do#
- Provide first tier IT support to resolve employee technical problems and tickets.
- Respond to escalated issues and incidents in a timely manner.
- Assist new hires with their workstation setup, tools, and best practices.
- Assemble workstations, including mechanical standing desks, and install IT equipment like TVs.
- Receive and organize inventory while maintaining the tracking system.
- Identify reliability issues in the systems you maintain and keep a clean, safe work environment.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Cybersecurity.
- Knowledge of Intune, JAMF administration, and Azure Active Directory.
- Experience with Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office products, and MAC.
- Knowledge of multiple Linux distributions, command line, and scripting.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds safely.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
