About the role#
As a Software Engineering Intern on the Rhone team, you will support the development and validation of low-level software solutions. This role focuses on virtualization and embedded platforms. You will work alongside engineering teams to build operating systems and device-level technologies.
What you'll do#
- Support software development activities in Linux and Unix environments.
- Assist with low-level systems programming and debugging.
- Contribute to projects involving device-level software and system components.
- Work with operating system and device driver concepts.
- Support development and testing for virtualization technologies.
- Review technical documentation and hardware specifications.
- Collaborate with engineering teams on embedded software projects.
- Participate in software validation and troubleshooting.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong interest in low-level software development and embedded systems.
- Proficiency in C programming.
- Familiarity with Linux or Unix operating environments.
- Coursework in Operating Systems, Device Drivers, or Embedded Systems.
- Understanding of hardware-software interaction.
- Knowledge of or exposure to QEMU is highly desirable.
- Experience with embedded or operating systems projects is a plus.
