About the role#
Citi is hiring Summer Analysts for the Commercial Banking division. This 10-week program begins in June and includes training alongside hands-on experience. You will join a coverage team and work with Relationship Managers on a portfolio of clients. The program focuses on understanding the commercial banking market, credit product types, and the loan underwriting process.
What you'll do#
- Conduct company research and industry analysis.
- Analyze financial data and perform financial modeling, including discounted cash flow analysis, company valuations, and pro-forma analyses.
- Support the commercial lending process, such as revolving lines of credit, term loans, and syndicated loans.
- Partner with Bankers and Product teams to determine the best solutions for client goals.
- Manage deals and prepare client presentations, including pitch books and prospect memos.
What you'll need#
- Currently on track to graduate with a bachelor's degree in winter 2027 or spring 2028.
- Major in Finance or Accounting.
- Preferred GPA of 3.5 or above.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Access, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- You must not require sponsorship for U.S. Work Authorization now or in the future.
