About the role#
The Consumer Group Summer Analyst program is a 10-week internship based in Irvine, California. You will gain exposure to our investment banking business by assisting deal teams with mergers and acquisitions, public offerings, private placements, and other advisory services. This full-time program serves as a pipeline for our permanent Analyst positions.
What you'll do#
- Research and prepare materials for pitch books, memorandums, and presentations.
- Build financial models to analyze client-specific projects.
- Collaborate with team members ranging from peer analysts to managing directors.
- Support client relations and business development activities for senior bankers.
- Maintain and update contact and deal databases.
- Assist deal teams with daily operational tasks.
What you'll need#
- Current junior standing in college.
- Major in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration.
- Minimum 3.5 GPA.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Flexibility to work long hours, including nights and weekends as required by workflow.
