About the role#
The Special District Group (SDG) at Piper Sandler is looking for a Summer Associate to join the banking team in Salt Lake City. This program offers experience in public finance investment banking through active participation in live deals and projects. This internship serves as a direct pipeline to full-time roles within the firm.
What you'll do#
- Contribute to live deals and projects within public finance investment banking.
- Collaborate with the banking team on Special District financing.
- Plan and organize work effectively to meet project deadlines.
- Communicate complex ideas clearly to diverse audiences.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a full-time MBA program as of fall 2026.
- A specific interest in a career in public finance.
- Availability for a summer internship in 2027.
- Proficiency with digital software, databases, and the MS Office suite.
- Ability to work in the United States on a full-time basis without employer sponsorship.
- Pursuing a degree in Finance, Business Administration, or Economics.
