About the role#
This summer internship is based in Houston and sits within the Special District Group of our public finance practice. You will work directly with the investment banking team to help raise capital for public infrastructure projects. This program serves as a pipeline for full-time hiring.
What you'll do#
- Contribute to live deals and ongoing projects.
- Collaborate with team members to secure capital for public infrastructure.
- Perform financial and market analysis to support banking transactions.
- Communicate with stakeholders regarding the status of projects.
- Support the team as they expand into new markets.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a full-time MBA program as of fall 2026.
- A clear interest in a career in public finance.
- Proficiency with MS Office and database software.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- The ability to plan and organize your work effectively.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without employer sponsorship.
