About the role#
The Financial Risk Management Summer Analyst Program is a 10-week opportunity within Truist Securities. This team focuses on foreign exchange, interest rate, and commodity derivatives. You will work on the private side of the trading floor, gaining exposure to commercial, corporate, and investment banking. The program includes networking socials, case studies, team-building projects, and an executive speaker series.
What you'll do#
- Create presentation materials to assist senior marketers.
- Price hedge transactions for clients.
- Provide commentary on current market conditions.
- Interact with bankers, traders, and capital raising partners.
- Participate in volunteer initiatives and team projects.
What you'll need#
- Graduation with a BA/BS degree in December 2027 or June 2028.
- Coursework in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or Economics.
- Strong analytical ability and attention to detail.
- Effective written and oral communication skills.
- Leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
