About the role#
The Internal Audit Summer Analyst program is a 16-week internship based in Mississauga, Ontario. This role provides an opportunity to work within Citi’s Internal Audit division, which delivers independent assessments of the company's governance, risk management, and internal control environment. The program includes structured classroom training, mentoring, and networking opportunities to support professional development.
What you'll do#
- Provide independent assessments of the company's governance, risk management, and internal control environment.
- Partner with one of Citi’s core businesses or global functions to ensure a sound control framework is in place.
- Perform real-world work and contribute value to your assigned team throughout the 16-week period.
- Network with other interns, current program participants, and Internal Audit professionals.
- Present your accomplishments and lessons learned to the Senior Internal Audit Management team at the conclusion of the program.
What you'll need#
- Bachelor’s degree candidate graduating between December 2027 and June 2028.
- Preferred GPA of 3.3 or higher.
- Strong analytical, oral, and written communication skills.
- Education or experience in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration is a plus.
- Ability to multi-task, think critically, and work collaboratively to achieve group objectives.
