About the role#
This is a paid, full-time internship based in Corpus Christi, Texas. You will work on-site to support project engineering activities. This role is open to students currently enrolled in an accredited engineering program.
What you'll do#
- Assist with project engineering tasks related to fixed and rotating equipment.
- Observe inspection and construction activities under supervision.
- Review engineering documentation, including P&IDs, site plans, piping schematics, and mechanical or civil detail drawings.
- Create job scopes for ongoing engineering projects.
- Update and create CITGO specifications and equipment reliability or integrity plans.
- Edit the engineering training manual to familiarize yourself with company practices.
- Consult with senior project engineers and managers.
- Conduct site visits to witness activities and verify project scopes.
What you'll need#
- High school diploma.
- Current enrollment in an accredited Chemical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering program.
- Sophomore, Junior, or Senior academic standing.
- Minimum 3.0 GPA.
