About the role#
This internship or co-op program provides students with hands-on experience in the midstream natural gas and NGL services sector. You will work alongside professionals on real projects and daily operations. The role focuses on contributing to team goals while gaining technical experience in an energy environment.
What you'll do#
- Support routine operations, maintenance, and ongoing projects.
- Assist with project scope development, including scheduling, design, cost estimating, construction oversight, and contractor engagement.
- Participate in DOT-regulated pipeline integrity and maintenance programs.
- Perform field work at compressor stations, pump stations, gas processing plants, pipelines, and related facilities.
- Contribute to midstream engineering initiatives such as automation, electrical, process optimization, reliability, and project engineering.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Chemical, Mechanical, Civil, Petroleum, Natural Gas, or Electrical Engineering.
- Strong academic performance.
- Ability to work on-site for 40 hours per week.
- A valid driver's license for work-related travel.
- Reliable personal transportation to and from the work site.
- Authorization to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship.
