Title: Marketing Intern Location: 2025 Harrodsburg Rd, Lexington, KY, 40504 Job Description: Marketing Intern — Part-Time (15 Hours/Week) Role The Marketing Intern will support the development and execution of the organization’s marketing strategy. This role is ideal for a motivated individual who wants hands-on experience in marketing, content creation, social media, customer outreach, and campaign planning. Responsibilities - Help create and execute an overall marketing plan aligned with organizational goals. - Research target audiences, competitors, market trends, and potential marketing opportunities. - Assist with developing and implementing marketing campaigns and promotions. - Create and schedule social media content across relevant platforms. - Assist with email marketing, newsletters, and customer communications. - Develop marketing materials, including flyers, digital content, presentations, and promotional materials. - Monitor marketing activities and track basic performance metrics. - Maintain a consistent brand voice and visual identity across marketing channels. - Help identify opportunities to increase brand awareness, engagement, and customer reach. - Collaborate with team members on marketing projects and special initiatives. - Provide regular updates on marketing activities, results, and recommendations for improvement. Work Experience - Previous marketing, communications, social media, sales, or customer service experience is helpful but not required. - Internship, volunteer, school, freelance, or personal project experience involving marketing or social media may be considered. - Experience creating content or managing social media accounts is a plus. Education - Currently pursuing or recently completed an associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Public Relations, Digital Media, or a related field. - Students with relevant coursework, projects, or demonstrated marketing skills are encouraged to apply.
