About the role#
Facilities Engineering Interns support Chevron production, pipeline, refining, or chemical production operations. Depending on the assignment, interns may work at specific operating facilities or within the centralized Chevron Technical Center to support global operations. This role is a full-time, paid internship designed to evaluate candidates for potential future full-time employment.
What you'll do#
- Support operating facilities by applying technical engineering knowledge and executing small projects.
- Focus on the asset integrity, reliability, maintainability, and operability of operating assets.
- Identify hazards and assess risks for operating facilities and capital projects by developing mitigation strategies.
- Deliver high-quality designs and project execution through the application of sound engineering principles.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor or master degree program in Chemical Engineering.
- Strong academic performance in core coursework.
- Demonstrated skills in communication, leadership, teamwork, and problem-solving.
