About the role#
The Shell Assessed Internship Program 2027 is a full-time, paid opportunity for students to gain hands-on experience in the energy industry. Over the course of 10 to 12 weeks during the summer of 2027, you will join a project team and work alongside professionals to address real business challenges. This program includes a formal mid-term review and a final presentation to discuss your project delivery and performance.
What you'll do#
- Work on meaningful projects that have a direct business impact.
- Collaborate with experienced colleagues across various areas of the company.
- Participate in regular assessments and receive constructive feedback to support your professional growth.
- Deliver a final presentation on your project work at the conclusion of the internship.
What you'll need#
- Active enrollment in a post-secondary institution with at least one semester of education remaining after the internship.
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.20.
- U.S. citizenship or valid work authorization (sponsorship is not provided for this program).
- Pursuing a degree in Environmental, Chemical, Mechanical, Civil, or Electrical Engineering, or Business Administration.

- Locations include Houston, Texas; Norco, Louisiana; One Shell Square, Louisiana; and San Diego, California.
