About the role#
This internship program offers a 10 to 12 week experience for students to explore the energy industry. You will work on projects, receive mentorship from leaders, and participate in professional development sessions. The program is designed to help you build skills and gain hands-on experience in your chosen field.
What you'll do#
- Develop an understanding of the core business and operating areas at Williams.
- Gather and analyze real-time data to identify efficiencies and ensure proper asset maintenance.
- Build credibility by contributing to major projects and capital expansions.
- Collaborate with teams across operating areas and fields to achieve enterprise goals.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master's degree in chemical, civil, electrical, environmental, energy, mechanical, or petroleum engineering.
- Graduation date of December 2027 or beyond.
- A valid State Driver’s License and a clean driving record.
- Willingness and ability to relocate for the summer.
- Note that this position is not eligible for sponsorship, OPT, or CPT.
Location & details#
- Locations: Tulsa, Oklahoma; Houston, Texas; and Salt Lake City, Utah.
- Term: Summer 2027.
- Schedule: Full-time, generally 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
- Compensation: This is a paid internship. A $2,500 housing stipend is provided, with additional relocation assistance available for those moving more than 50 miles from their home and school address. Benefits include accrued sick pay, medical, and 401(k) options.
