About the role#
This is a returning internship position for students pursuing degrees in Health, Safety, and Environment fields. This is a full-time, paid role that requires the ability to work in various domestic and international locations.
What you'll do#
Interns work as part of a team to support health, safety, and environmental performance. Responsibilities vary by focus area and may include:
- Advising on regulatory requirements and best practices.
- Developing procedures, guidelines, and training materials.
- Conducting safety inspections, audits, and exposure assessments.
- Evaluating and addressing ergonomic risks.
- Identifying waste management solutions and assessing remediation plans.
- Compiling emissions estimates and developing environmental impact assessments.
What you'll need#
Candidates must be pursuing a bachelor’s, master’s, or PhD degree in one of the following disciplines:
- Industrial Health and Safety, Public Health, or Occupational Safety and Health.
- Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Civil Engineering (with an environmental emphasis).
- Environmental Sciences (master’s or PhD preferred).
Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.

- Work Modality: On-site.
- Locations: Richmond, CA; El Segundo, CA; Bakersfield, CA; Pasadena, TX; Midland, TX; Houston, TX; Belle Chasse, LA; Covington, LA; Geismar, LA; Pascagoula, MS; Ames, IA; and Greeley, CO.
- Compensation: $24.25 - $37.50 per hour, determined by discipline, degree level, and academic year.
